The wind whips up and blows fiercely – This makes us imagine the wind whirling around together and then blowing fiercely, making you shiver. Cruel wind – This makes the feeling that the wind is acting to be alive and it is doing bad things to you, like mini cursing. Goose bumps that popped out – This gives us the feeling that goose bumps are popping out randomly. The house is now in sight – This gives us a scary feeling inside us about the house. Sinister – This gives us the impression that something evil is going to happen. Colossal gates stand guard – This is like the colossal gates are standing guard for the house because it is very important. Foolish – This tells us that you have done something wrong and you’re not a bit happy about it.

Can you give examples of the different punctuationmarks and try to say why they have been used. Read the blog and try to respond to more of the points made. I am looking forward to seeing your work.

I think the word that’s effective is colossal it tells you that they weren’t big they where massive, I think it’s a good word to use because it creates a image in your mind that they were huge not just big.
Another word is fiercely it means that the wind didn’t just blow normally it blew like it was trying to scare you.
I love how you focused on the word fiercely. The idea of a scary wind would really suit the place being described. It makes the wind seem like a living creature.
