In Year 5 we have been learning how to write Greek myths. We have all done a wonderful job at analysing myths and we have even started to write our own!
Year 5’s next challenge is to write a myth but with a space setting! Have a go at typing
your own space myth and uploading it onto our blog below. Remember to check spelling, punctuation and grammar!
Top Tip: Try to keep the structure of the story the same as Theseus and the Minotaur. You can change the descriptions about characters and settings to give it a ‘space’ atmosphere.
Please consider sentence structures, deeper detail and personal writing targets when communicating ideas.

Chloe and the 4 headed beast! homework

A couple of centuries ago in space there lived a leader called Zandrox. Zandrox ruled over an attractive world called Aluda. In Aluda there lived a four headed beast called Xenomorph. Zandrox claimed that Xenomorph should be lock up in a humongous fire protected cave. Xenomorph had a body of a slithery snake, a substantial head of a human and three gruesome arms on each side ; it loved to eat baby Aliens ( and alien children ).
Zandrox had vanquished Humlborb ( leader of the world Rodnab Mazama ) in a injurious war. Because Humlborb did not want his prized country destroyed every 2-3 years he would sent 5 slithering baby girls and 5 slimy baby boys as a sacrifice.
Humlborb had a charming handsome son called Matholwch .Matholwch was devastated when he cultured why the babies were being sent to Aluda. As a trick,he decided to go there as a detainee .But first he had to tell his father. So he went to his fathers room and declare, “Father I can not take this any more! We need to stop that Zandrox this instance! Mothers and fathers are weeping for there babies which have been snatched a way from them!”
“Oh my son ! We can not do anything about Zandrox or the babies being taken away Zandrox has a stronger army,” said Humlborb. Without further ado Matholwch marched out the room and began his journey to Aluda.
Zandrox had also had a handsome and strong son called Titania. Titania also disagreed to what his father was doing ( taking babies from Humlborb world ). Titania and Matholwch became best friends and decided they would help each other to defeat the beast, Xenomorph.
They both marched to the cave and gently and slowly slipped in side the cave without getting burnt on the fire cage bars.
They both began to search for the beast. Seconds became minutes, minutes became hours, hours became days and days became months and finally they came to a point were they were going to give up, but thena part of the beast was shown! They both grabbed there swords and Titania stabbed the beast in its greasy body whilst Matholwch snapped of its neck! Blood oozed from the beast so they new he was dead!
They took the alien babies home and gave them to there mothers and fathers and had a great Zalien festival to celebrate the amizing sacrfice of the Xenomorph. They were the first people ( babies ) to have survived going in to the fire made cave!
Matholwch and Titania became close
friends and there fathers stopped
rivalry!

Homework THE END!
She loved helping people but there was one Goddess called Athena. She got jealous because no one was worshiping her any more. She felt subsequently embarrassed because they smashed her temple to bits and no longer built idols of her. Acacia was getting all the attention! The women of Athens all wished to be her and the men of Athens all wished to marry her.
One day the Goddess Athena was so jealous that she sent all of her warriors to capture her so her son, who’s name is Hephaestus, could hit her with an arrow to make no one like her anymore! What do you think will happen next? She told him the plan about what to do. She whispered, “You need to throw this special arrow at Acacia.”
“But why?”asked Hephaestus.
She tried to deceive him by telling him, “Well didn’t you know that this arrow will make Acacia fall in love with you and I think you will both have a very pessimistic ending. Very indeed.” He agreed to do it and he set of with the gifts that his mother gave him (e.g flying shoes and a shield if the plan didn’t work).
Just by luck Acacia was picking flowers for her beloved farther,who is 27 years old,. He shot the arrow and it hit her in her stomach. He saw people pass her and they were not worshipping her any more. They all smashed her statues and made a giant riot to kill her. Hephaestus found out that his mother had tricked him. He never listened to her ever again.
He then made a way for it to work. The plan was to marry Acacia and they could have an happy ever after. After a couple of weeks they had a baby with the mark of a god on his hand…
Once upon a time, a long time ago a beautiful maiden named Acacia. She lived in Athens. Although there were loads of intelligent people on Athens she was the most intelligent.

Many, many years ago in a galactic Galaxy far, far away was a golden meteor… a magic meteor! The meteor was in fact an enormous city called Moncon. There was a beautiful princess of Moncon called Moana.
Moncon was at the dark side of the Galaxy but there was only one bright white light shining on Moncon coming from the enchanted moon. All the creatures on Moncon were in fact aliens coming from other planets except for the princess herself which was half mutant and half human.
Beside the city there was a silver meteor and the aliens of the silver meteor were extremely horrid to Moncon. The city was called Dread. Dread was 2nd in the space Olympics and Moncon was 1st in the space Olympics that’s why Dread was jealous of the golden planet and with their magical powers created a bomb shaped as the planet earth (It was the planet Earth but they had shrunken it and slotted a nuclear bomb in it and was planning to get rid of Moncon.
All of the planet Earth was watching everything that happened even the prince of England too and he was planning to de shrink himself with a ray gun created by the planet Jupiter which was next to him but he had to get out of planet earth so he jumped in the rocket and landed on a rock with his space suite. He pressed de shrink when the alien of Dread were gone and turned big.
He tried to de shrink the planet Earth but couldn’t and the bomb would blast In 24 hours (1 day).The bomb would blast Earth ……….AND MONCON!!! He leaped through the air and went to the golden meteor /Moncon and tried to find the lovely princesses castle. He asked the little aliens but they wouldn’t answer because they speak in a totally different language but the princess talks English and other languages.
Finally he found the castle and thought, would the princess be ugly like the rest of the aerobic aliens or wouldn’t she? He tiptoed inside and before his eyes was a magnificent girl with curly blond hair and eyes as green as a snake”she was perfect,” he whispered and walked towards her.
Then he asked that can you speak English and she said yes and he told her everything and she gave him a gadget that would de shrink planets. And so he took it and crawled back to Dread, he held up the gun and shot the planet and so the Earth went back to its place but the prince didn’t .
He went to Moana and told her what had happened and that he shrunk every single alien on Moncon and Dread so they both could go to earth and get married!
On a big cercully moon there were three people and thousands of alliens.The peoples names were dominic,conner and sally and if you wanted to defeat the alliens you will need to take out their eye.So then dominic,conner and sally were walking around the moon.When dominic,conner and sally found the alliens they quikly tuk out their swords out and shields and dominic,conner and sally tuk out the eyes from the alliens and went back to their rocket and flyed back to earth.
Gods and Humans Vs Zaliens
Thousands of years ago, far away in space living on the planet Saturn was a cold – blooded beast called Zalien. A Zalien was
a creature that was half zombie and half alien.
One day while Zeus (god of the skies) was checking the planets. As soon as he checked Saturn he had an unpleasent surprise. The Zalien came out of nowhere and tried biting the the poor gods finger . Zeus went back to Olympia to spread the news about the Zalien. The news had spread all around the world with everyone worried about it. Soldiers from far and wide tried to defeat the Zalien but every soldier failed and died.
Years later they had a man called Max Martinez and he lived in Greece with his wife Charlotte Martinez. Charlotte gave birth to twins and they were called Justin and Christina. One day Christina and Justin learnt about the Zalien and the next day Mr and Mrs Martinez went missing.
The Sixteen year old kids were looking for their parents everywere and decided to give up. “That’s it , I have got an idea” Justin said
“What is it?” questioned Christina
“We will go to mount Olympus and ask Zeus for help” replied Justin
“What are we waiting for lets go” said Christina.
So the two teenagers went to mount Olympus and found Zeus and told him about their missing parents.
“Christina and Justin your parents have been kidnapped by the Zalien we must go to Saturn to save your parents” responded Zeus
“But we will surely get eaten by the Zalien” replied Justin
“Don’t worry, all the gods and godesses will be there to protect you” said Zeus.
Justin,Christina and all the gods approached the Zalien and stabbed him but nothing happend then Justin and Christina stabbed him on the back and the Zalien was dead and everyone who was kidnapped was free and they had a party to celebrate there victory and everyone lived in peace and harmony once again.

Maria and the Bullalien
Over 25,000 years ago,on Mercury,there lived an astonishing,frightening creature called the Bullalien.It had the body of a bull and the head of an alien;it loved to eat anarecsic adults for supper. Every night the Bullalien would go to Earth and would collect 13 adults from different countries.7 men and 6 women.He would then trap them in his goey,disgusting palace of darkness that (The Head Alien had built for him.)
The Head Alien had vanquished the Queen Alien of Venus in a disturbing war. As the Queen Alien did not want her planet Venus destroyed and crushed,every 11 years she would send 7 young men and 5 innocent women to the Head Alien’s planet.The Head Alien would then send the 12 young adults into his smelly palace of darkness.None of the humans had ever escaped alive……Hope you enjoy my part of the story!!!!!
One day Newton was looking outside in his telescope at the spectacular space just then he saw a… “COMET,” screamed Newton. He quickly calculated how long it would take for the Comet to hit Earth,” Aye, aye aye it will hit Earth in apoximetly 72hr oh no, no no no this is bad very bad.”
So quickly Newton went to the nearest space station(Next door of cores). So when he got there he explained to the other
Scientists that the Comet was going to hit Earth in 72 hr. So Newton got into the space-ship and the computer counted down,”5…4…3…2…1…BLAST OFF!
So then Newton was lifted in the sky at the speed of light. About a nano second after he was in space, he just then had realised that the Comet was speeding up time so now he had only 24 hours to destroy a comet just then he saw the comet coming for his space-ship… He quickly got his laser gun and shot it at the Comet and BOOM!!! The Comet was destroyed
and when he got back to Earth he got a medal of bravery form the Queen.
The End

and a head of a tiger one day the king of idle had a war agents the king of the gloomy
town ,but sadly the king of the gloomy town won so every month the king of idle
had to send 5 healthy children when ply son of the king of idle herd this hegot so
angry that he per tended to be one of the children sent by the king of idle .
when ply got there a lady fell in love with ply so she gave him a ball of string so he
could find his way out again ,so ply s tern came so he went in to the grave yard he
so the ugly tiger on but it did not see ply so he slid under his legs and chopped its
ugly head of and to make shore it was dead he took its brain out .
so the hole of idle had a street party and ply got marred to the lovely women , and
the hole of idle lived happy ever after.

Cenrys ago, on Saturn there lived a slimy, slopy monster called the, Three headed dog. It loved to eat children and had the body of a lion, the heads of a dog and the tail was a snake.King Neptune ordered a special home to be built for the Three heded dog It was a underground dungeon.
King Neptune had demolished the King of Mercy in a dreadful, alarming and frightening battle. Because the the King of Mercy did not want his beatiful country wreked he had no choice but to send ten young girls and ten young boys to be slaughtered. NO=obody came out alive.
Pluto( King of Mercy’s son) was horror-stuck when he learnt why the boys and girls were being sent to Saturn. As a trick Pluto decided to go to Neptune as one of the prisnors to kill the creature.
Mars (King Neptune’s daughter) fell in love with Pluto the second she layed eyes on him and decided to help him defeat the Three headed dog. She gave him a dagger and fire she told him to tie it on the entrance of the dungeon.
As soon as Pluto saw the creature he aggresivly killled the murdous animal. Blood flowed from the creature like a volcano and he rescued the people. When they arrived home there was a celebration going on for Pluto. They were the first people to have survived going in the dungeon.
Ariadne also Gorliza
many years ago on a beautiful planet called Jupiter there live a horrible monster called Gorliza. No one had the guts to smell the monsters breath it was poisonous in addition the offensives monster had green glowing eyes also enjoyed eating scared people. But if one person was not scared of him the monster would become very annoyed and would demand more people to eat.
The ravage queen Mary had overcame queen Elizabeth in a over whelm war and because queen Elizabeth had been demolished queen Mary demanded “i know i am the best but if you don’t want your country destroyed i will be wanting 8 of your citizens to be fed to my monster every 9 years or say bye bye to your country”
“fine i will be giving you the 8 citizens but i wish i have a daughter called Ariadne and she will kill this monster of yours” exclaimed Elizabeth…….
Queen Elizabeth had a daughter named Ariadne and because she was a kind, content, proud also she always butted into her mums conversations. Because she heard her mum demand to the her helpers ” it has been 9 years and i am going to need to send 8 of the citizens you have to go and get them!” as her mum came out Ariadne was so in shock that she fainted.
Because on the way from the moon to Jupiter was long but to keep her entertained her mother secretly put a hansom space boy from the moon into a secret storage named the closet. As it slowly opened a handsome man made his entry ready to defeat this scary monster.
As they slowly entered the maze in space they herd a monster say “i am lonely i need a friend to keep me company while i am locked in here” they thought every one had got it wrong he wanted a friend so why not be his friend and make him happy but as they went there was a surprise waiting it was that everyone they sent was playing with the monster so the got the monster and the space citizens to get in the space ship while they zoomed home and lived happily with the mnster around…….

2000 years in to the future people finally left earth to live on Mars; what they didn’t know was that that there were aliens called the Sluginators that that loved to eat old teacher (20-30 years of age). They lived peacefully on Mars until the Sluginators finally showed them self.
