We could add bright colours to our blog and make it very interesting so that people will be impressed with how much effort we have put in. We could also add pictures of our classroom, of what we are learning in Creative Curriculum, Science, English and Maths.

We could make the blog better if we put up a challenge and made it more exciting by having cool facts and a colorful heading.

Hi this is Anam Batool, I am in 5 cedar. In year 5 we have been learning about Dracula in English and in Maths we are learning about areas and perimeter. In topic we used to learn about India but now we learn about Victorians, Vampires and Villains’. We want people out of school to go on our school blog and be interested in reading about us and what we have been doing since September 2013.
Can you also put it in order: in the morning there is raving readers at 8:30am, at 8:45 MR Sandhu ( our teacher ) does the register, then at 9am we do English. We do Maths about 9:45 and finish at 10:50. At last we go break outside In the back playground with 5 willow and year 6. When we come back from break we sometimes do reading. We have reading places, Maths places, mix ability places and literacy places.

    . Year 5’s phenomenal blog
What could be on the blog hmmm … we should show the best classwork of the week and the parents will see it maybe? There should be challenges that should be for yr6 or yr5, they could be every subject we learn or there could educational games like the ones on education city and they should be tough, also we can add things that we’ve already learnt. Whatever we learn in school can be posted on the school blog to inform the parents on what we are learning or reading like Dracula is a book we are currently reading. Whoever used the best vocabulary could be posted on the blog.
The features of an amazing blog are: a heading, subheading, colours, pictures, comments for feedback with a comment box and videos

Hi my name is Hamzah. I will tell you about some of the things we’ve been doing in 5 Cedar. First, our topic was India because my teacher, Mr Sandhu is from India. Even his favourite cricket team is India, mine is Pakistan. In English we have been learning about Victoria, Vampires and Villains. We looked at the story of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The film is spectacular, some people watched it from our class. then we read the book. In Maths we are learning about areas of shapes and perimeters of shapes.

All the classes can help make a quick news channel of the record breaking outstanding work that Copthorne Primary can do. We can update the blog every week so more and more comments get sent here and then we become full of interesting comments. We can tell our audience who has won past the rounds in Copthorne & Teachers got talent.

Mr Sandhu, since tomorrow is world book day we could update the blog and create a survey about world book day. We could ask people what their favourite book is and who their favourite character is. This will give them a better idea of what to wear. Sir I think we should put a few Marvel books on are blog because it will make it more interesting. Sir I also thought we should put a catchy title describing our topic.

    5 Cedars amazing blog

In my opinion we could make our blog interesting by putting pictures and educational videos. We can also put children’s work (from 5 Cedar) on our blog. To make our blog fun and interesting we could make it colourful and add some Maths or English (literacy) fun games to attract the people we could put a creative background!
The features of an interesting blog are:
    * To make it colourful
    *To have catchy titles
    *To have nice images

    The amazing blog of copthorne
    It’s out now!
We will make our blog more fun and educational by putting activitys, also games that are educational. The next thing we can put is a picture with a really creative background. 5C have been learning about India and also Victorians, Vampires and Villains. On our fantastic blog we can add an attractive title and some videos that are fun for children. We can also put what special things are happening during the week.
I think we could make it even better by taking your opinion. What do you think we could do sir? 

In our topic we have been learning about Queen Victoria, Victorians and India. In English we have been reading all about Dracula which was really fun to read. In Maths we have been learning all about perimeter and area. Usually we do different fun activities. In I.C.T we have been doing work on power points and Microsoft. In R.E we have been learning about the prophets of Islam. Before that we were learning about special people and how they get on with each other. Every Friday we do Arabic because we like learning different languages so we can talk in the different languages. Every Wednesday we do P.E with our teacher. We also do P.E on Thursdays. We go swimming and learn how to swim so we can be better swimmers.

Mr Sandhu since its reading month, on the blog we can talk about our favourite books and our favourite parts so other people might get interested in your favourite book even if the genre is: horror, adventure, action and more. I wish this blog becomes the best in this school maybe the blog could be the best in Bradford!!!

What will make 5cedars blog interesting: I think to make our blog better, we could make a file called “English work” and take a picture of our English work. You could also do the same with Math, Science and P.e. You could add bright colours, catchy titles and what we do during school time. In my opinion we should show this to the audience, that is our head teacher, Copthorne and Ofsted. We could post some writing about what we get up to and what our curriculum is, for example, Dracula, Victorians and villains.
The features of a blog: To make our blog the best one we could add facts for parents, educational games such as Mathletics, Educational City and Purple mash. In year5 we have been learning about Victorians and mainly Dracula, so we could let everyone know what a fantastic school and people we all are. The best thing about having a blog is that we can show off our work and make every one proud, especially our parents.

For our blog we need more colours on our background. Also, 5 cedar need a catchy title at the top of our blog so it stands out from other classes’ blogs (eye catching). I would love our class to learn all about the Greeks and Charles Dickens. In creative curriculum I would love to learn all about famous people from around the world. In English we would like to write our own stories like Avocado Baby and Dracula. In our spare time, we could write book reviews about books that we’ve read; we could then put them on our school blog.
Hamza and Adil would like to make this blog more interesting.

Mr Sandhu, as it is reading month I think we should be reading lots of amazing books for example: Gangsta Granny or Horrid Henry. It is my favourite day tomorrow because its world book day so I am going to dress up as Gangsta Granny’s Grandson. I think on world book day we should have a costume contest.

    Dear Mr Sandhu,
As we are learning about Victorians, Vampires and Villains I would like it if we could write some information about it on our fantastic school blog. In addition, we could write recounts about our wonderful trips we have been too (for example: The Colour Museum). I hope we can make our blog the best out of all the schools in Bradford.
    Yours Sincerely,
    Isa Mahmood

I really love this blog, especially Year 5 Cedars teacher! I have learnt ALOT over the past year 5. My favorite topic has to be about the Taj Mahal. Year 5′s maths problems are really hard well, kind of, but when they are hard it makes me love maths more and more!
